Welcome to The New Waterloo!

We are working hard to revitalize the City of Waterloo. This process includes strengthening our neighborhoods, reinvesting in downtown, improving opportunities for local businesses and industries, and making strategic public investments.

Funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Brownfields Program, along with assistance from several other federal and state agencies, have aided Waterloo’s successful initiative.
