NOTICE OF A PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH & REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENT

Former Chamberlain Manufacturing Site Re-use Planning

 

The City of Waterloo in partnership with Kansas State University’s (KSU) Targeted Assistance to Brownfields (TAB) Program, and HR Green Inc., will conduct a Public Outreach meeting on, August 8, 2017 at 6:00 PM, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 207 W. Louise Street, Waterloo, Iowa. Any interested parties are encouraged to attend for the purpose of seeking information and providing comment on (3) three conceptual redevelopment plans to be presented.

 

The Open House will include a brownfield redevelopment educational presentation at 6:00 PM, followed by the review of (3) three conceptual redevelopment designs involving the former Chamberlain site and adjacent areas. Participants will be asked to rank the three concepts and provide feedback on how a concept could be improved. All comments and suggestions are welcomed at any time; however, it is recommended that you submit them by August 14, 2017. For those who cannot attend the meeting in person, you may view a rebroadcast of the meeting via the City of Waterloo’s Cable Access Channel 15 or 79.2.
